"OLD and NEW"  Antique carpets and their contemparary counterparts in the "Bieber Project"
Carpets and kilims of modern production are hardly ever as expressive and unique as antique collectors' items. It is the objective of the Bieber project to preserve and at the same time revive the tradition of village carpets, which has been dying out.
Processing and dyeing of wool, weaving techniques and designing follow early Anatolian tradition. These modern works of art wish to be walked on while their antique counterparts have remained restful witnesses of times long past.
