The exhibits are vivid examples of early weaving and knotting traditions from Central Asia to South East Europe (Orient and Occident). The exhibition takes us from the Balkans to Afghanistan, on an imaginary journey along a "silk road" of textile art.
Exquisite colours in the carpets and kilims, bags, saddle blankets, saddle bags and other smaller textiles will delight the visitor's eye. |
